Directions to Pool Meet Sites

Maryland Farms YMCA, Brentwood, TN:

From Interstate 65, take the Old Hickory Boulevard Exit in Brentwood heading West (the first exit coming from the North, and the second exit coming from the South).  Take your first LEFT onto Franklin Pike.  At the first stoplight, take a RIGHT onto Maryland Way.  The pool will be about 1 mile ahead on your LEFT.

Williamson County ISC, Brentwood TN:

From Nashville - Take I-65 South.  Get off at Exit 71 (Concord Rd) and turn left. Turn left a 2nd light (Heritage Way). Indoor Sports Complex is at the end of the drive on the right. 

From Franklin - Take I-65 North.  Get off at Exit 71 (Concord Rd) and turn left at the end of the ramp. Turn left at 1st light (Heritage Way). Indoor Sports Complex is at the end of the drive on the right. 

Cookeville YMCA, Cookeville TN:

Take I-40 East to Cookeville.  Exit 288. Turn left onto Hwy. 111 going north toward Cookeville.  Take the 1st exit.  The sign says Cookeville / Monterey.  Turn left onto Spring Street.  Proceed under the overpass and thru the traffic light.  You will see a large Ford Dealership.  Turn right onto Cavalier Dr. which is directly across the street.  There is a sign that says Avery Trace Middle School.  The YMCA is on the right across the street from the school.

Columbia TN YMCA:

Take 65 South to Saturn Pkwy, then exit onto Hwy 31South to Columbia.  You'll go several miles. At second light turn right onto 412. Exit at Industrial Pkwy, turn left, at light turn right. At the next light turn right onto Hampshire Pike (there is a sign for Columbia State College) Go a couple of miles and after next light look on the right for the YMCA sign (Whitthorne Middle School is on the left).  Follow the road all the way back, it dead ends at the Y.  Drive safely.
 

Gallatin Community Center, Gallatin TN:

From Hendersonville, take Gallatin Road (31E) North.  Pass through Gallatin and make a left onto Albert Gallatin Road (Sumner Memorial Gardens Cemetery at corner).  The entrance to the parking lot will be just ahead on your right.

From Nashville, take I40 to Hwy 109 (Exit 232) and go North.  Stay on 109, past the river.  When you come to the 109 Bypass you can take a left and follow it to Hwy 31, or you can go straight past the 109 Bypass and go through and past Downtown Gallatin to Hwy 31.  When you get to Hwy 31, take a right and continue until you get to Albert Gallatin Road, take a left (Sumner Memorial Gardens Cemetery at corner).  The entrance to the parking lot will be just ahead on your right.

LaVergne High School, LaVergne TN:

From Nashville take I-24 East to Exit 66B (Sam Ridley Parkway).  Go through the first traffic light to the next immediate Left (Chaney Rd)...There is a Logan's and a Catfish House on the corner.  Turn left and go past the Elementary School on the Right.  LaVergne High School will be visisble on the right.  Pull into the first parking lot you come to and continue on around behind the school.  The pool is there in the back.

From Murfreesboro, take I-24 West to Exit 66, Sam Ridley, and continue on the ramp to the Right...From there go through the traffic light and follow the rest of the above directions.

Jimmy Floyd Family Center, Lebanon TN:

From Nashville, take I-40 east to Highway 109, Exit 232.  Go north on 109 to highway 70.  Take a right and go east on highway 70 for about 6 miles.  Take a left at the first stoplight, onto Baddour Parkway (also Highway 70 by-pass).  Take a left at the third stoplight onto Castle Heights Avenue North.  The Jimmy Floyd Family Center is on the right just across the bridge. 

Manchester Recreation Comples, Manchester TN (Coffee County):

From Nashville, take I-24 east towards Chattanooga. Take Exit 110 Manchester.  Turn right off of exit onto Hwy 53.  Go straight approximately ½ mile.  You’ll see the Outdoor pool on your left.  Turn left onto N. Woodland St.  Rec Center will be on your immediate right.          Hint: Bring your own chair.

Oakland High School, Mufreesboro TN:

From Nashville, take I-24 South, get on Hwy 840 towards Lebanon, and turn off on Broad Street Exit (Hwy 41, 1st Exit after getting on 840) and go towards Murfreesboro.  Follow Broad Street in toward town until the first big intersection.  This will be Thompson Lane.  Turn left onto Thompson Lane.

Follow Thompson Lane to the next light, and turn right onto Haynes Drive.  Follow Haynes, cross Memorial (Murfreesboro SportsCom and State Farm Insurance are at the Intersection) and continue on the same road, now called DeJarnett Lane. 

Follow DeJarnett for about a mile and a half or so, and come in on the back of OHS.  The first building is the pool, right across from the baseball field.  There is a large parking lot right there. 

Riverdale High School, Murfreesboro TN:

Glencliff HS, Nashville TN:

From Chattanooga:
Take I-24 WEST towards NASHVILLE.
Take the TN-255/HARDING PLACE exit, exit number 56.
Merge onto HARDING PL.
Turn LEFT onto ANTIOCH PIKE.

From the North:
Take the 1-65 S. towards NASHVILLE.
Take the I-40 EAST/I-24 EAST exit, exit number 83A, on the left towards KNOXVILLE/CHATTANOOGA.
Merge onto I-24 E.
Take the TN-155 WEST/BRILEY PKY exit, exit number 54A.
Merge onto BRILEY PKWY.
BRILEY PKWY becomes TN-155 W.
Turn LEFT  onto SOUTHLAKE DR.
Turn LEFT onto ANTIOCH PIKE.
School is on the left.

From the West:
Take 1-40 towards Nashville.
Take the I-440 ramp towards KNOXVILLE.
Merge onto I-440 E.
Take the US-31A/US-41A/NOLENSVILLE PIKE exit, exit number 6.
Turn RIGHT onto NOLENSVILLE PIKE.
Turn LEFT onto ANTIOCH PIKE.
School is on the left.

From the East
Take I-40 WEST towards NASHVILLE.
Take the I-24 EAST exit, exit number 213A, on the left towards CHATTANOOGA:
Merge onto I-24 E.
Take the TN-155 WEST/BRILEY PKY exit, exit number 54A.
Merge onto BRILEY PKWY.
BRILEY PKWY becomes TN-155 W.
Turn LEFT onto SOUTHLAKE DR.
Turn LEFT onto ANTIOCH PIKE.
School is on the left.

Sportsplex, Nashville TN:

From Interstate 65, exit at Interstate 440 West towards Memphis.  Exit onto West End Avenue and head East towards downtown.  Take a left onto 25th avenue (must be in the far left turn lane from West End).  Centennial Sportsplex is located about 300 yards ahead on the right.  Upon entering the building, the pool will be to your immediate right.

TSU, Nashville TN:

The TSU aquatic center is located in the Gentry Complex on the north side of campus.

From the north or downtown: I-40 going west toward Memphis, exit at 28th Ave. At the bottom of the ramp turn right (28th Ave), go to the 3rd traffic light (1st is Jefferson St., second is Schrader Ln., and 3rd is Walter Davis Blvd and turn left (can only turn left).  See below

From I-440 going west: Continue on I-440 until the spit for I-40 (west to Memphis or east to downtown) stay east toward downtown.  Exit at the first exit ramp #207 Jefferson St.  At the bottom of the ramp turn left under the interstate (Jefferson Ave).  Go two blocks to the first traffic light (to the left is 28th Ave. to the right is Ed Temple Blvd) turn right on Ed Temple Blvd.  Go to the second traffic light (Walter Davis Blvd) turn left.  See below.

After turning left onto Walter Davis Blvd, go two blocks and you will see the big TSU sign on the left.  Turn left up the double drive to the top of the hill.  The parking lot is to the left and the building is to the right.  The large glass windows is the pool area.  Enter the building and go through the locker rooms to enter the pool area. 

Also please be reminded that there are to be no street shoes worn on the pool deck.  Flip-fops, sandals, or bare feet are appreciated. Thank you.

University of the South, Sewanee TN:

Coming from Nashville:
Exit at the first Monteagle exit, first exit after you pass the rest stop at the top of the mountain.  After the exit you will turn left on 41A to go to Sewanee.  You will pass Pizza hut early on, then Pearl's restaurant later, and then St. Andrew's, Sewanee school.  After passing the school (still on 41A) you will go past the domain entrance (two stone pillars) then look for the next exit to the right-take it (has hospital sign too).  Will go 1/4 mile or so and need to slow to 25mph (they mean it) on the campus.

This is University Ave. Will go past the hospital on the left, and the Sewanee Inn on your right.  Just up the way will see an intersection to your right.  Go right onto Texas. Will come to a stop sign  and you are looking at Fowler center where the pool is.  Turn right, and the parking is there on the right.  If that is full there is parking in  the back.  If that is full may want to head out back to University Ave. 

Smyrna High School, Smyrna TN:

DIRECTIONS TO DAVID R. BEAN SWIMPLEX

From Nashville take I-24 East past Murfreesboro and Manchester.

Take Exit 117 and continue right on to Wattendorf Hwy after approximately 2 miles you will pass the main gate to Arnold Air force Base take the next left which is the Decherd Hwy (about ¼ mile after main gate)

Remain on this road for about 10 miles it is also Hwy 127

You will come to a red light where Hwy 127 intersects 41A, stay in the right lane turning left and take 41A South,  stay right and take the first right (the next red light about 100yds.) on to Sharp Springs road. 

After a short distance you will come to a 4-way stop, turn right on to Bible Crossing Road,  travel about 3 miles and you will come to another 4-way stop, turn left at this 4-way following this road about 1 ½ miles and the David R. Bean Swimplex will be on your right.  The phone # to the swimplex is 931-962 4204
